Paul Robles peacefully passed away at home on Friday, May 16, 2025, and is now with our Father in heaven. He had valiantly fought the fight of a brain cancer known as Glioblastoma for over two years. Once diagnosed with this aggressive tumor, Paul would face this challenge with unwavering strength and courage. Even until the end, Paul always believed that he would get better, and he instilled that hope in everyone who was blessed to cross his path.
Paul was born on November 23, 1956, in Loma Linda, California. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Juanita; stepson, Brian; and two sweet grandchildren, Aalyah and Jael.
Paul graduated from California State University, Fullerton, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After graduation, Paul secured a job at TRW Inc., which was a prominent player in the U.S. space program. He would work as a graphic illustrator for over 40 years, until his retirement in 2015.
Paul loved his community of Canyon Lake, California, where he lived with Juanita for 27 years. He was actively involved as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker ABR. He was a passionate pickleball player at the Canyon Lake courts, which he valued tremendously.
Paul had many talents, though music was his lifelong love. Music enabled him to become a consummate professional musician. He learned how to play the bass guitar at a very young age. It was his older brother, Bob, who would encourage his talents. Paul was also a member of the soulful band “The Traveling Homeboys” for over 29 years.
Paul was a God fearing man and a member of Canyon Lake Center Church. In the last days of his life, Paul’s attitude remained the same, optimistic. He never stopped fighting, he never gave up.
