Canyon Lake’s inaugural Cancer in Our Community Cancer Fair will be held on Saturday, May 14, from 10 to 7 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park. This event includes cancer-related resources for both men and women, vendors, a book signing and keynote speaker, a Kids Corner featuring crafts and face painting, food, beer and wine, and live performances by Code 415, Crimson Jazz Band, and Steel Canyon.
The Cancer Fair will kick off at 10 a.m. with a 1.2-mile community Cancer Walk, starting and ending at Holiday Harbor Park. A water station will be located at the corner of Canyon Lake Drive South and Sparkle Drive.
The Cancer Fair is supported by the Canyon Lake Veterans and First Responders Group, Mermaids of Canyon Lake Club, Jr. Women’s Club, Family Matters Club, Michelle’s Place, Cancer Fighter, Riverside Sheriff’s Department, Kiwanis Club of Temecula Valley, Canyon Lake POA, and the City of Canyon Lake.
