Nominated by Susan Frommer and Susan Hurst of the Southwest Riverside County Fire Safe Council, the First District office was recognized for staff efforts to provide help in obtaining an encroachment permit to treat a portion of Via Volcano with a fire retardant material and for staff spending time with residents driving the roads of Tenaja to see the concerns about fire safety, ingress and egress, illegal wedding venues and STRs rented for large party purposes.
The Riverside County First District is represented by Supervisor Kevin Jeffries. District 1 encompasses the cities of Canyon Lake, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, most of the City of Riverside, and several unincorporated communities.
