The Western Municipal Water District of Riverside County invites residents who have a mature water-wise landscape in their front yard to enter its Water-Wise Landscape Contest.
Sponsored by a consortium of water agencies and related businesses within the Inland Empire and operated by Western Municipal Water District of Riverside, the contest is held biennially to promote attractive water-wise landscapes.
The contest runs from April 18 to May 18. Winners will be notified by the end of June. The judging panel consists of sponsors and landscape architects. A minimum of four awards will be given; more depending upon the quality of entries.
- 1st place: $1,000
- 2nd place: $900
- 3rd place: $800
- 4th place: $700
