The City of Canyon Lake kicked off its Railroad Canyon Road Painting Improvements Project on July 10. For the next three to four weeks, intermittent lane closures will occur Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The scope of work includes pressure washing, repairing, and painting all city boundary walls, traffic signals, and light poles, and painting Southern California Edison utility boxes and bollards along Railroad Canyon Road.
The Canyon Lake City Council approved $340,000 plus up to 10 percent for contract/construction management and up to eight percent contingency for the project. The project is funded by gas tax, Measure A funds. The contract was awarded to Color New Co.
