Due to personal circumstances and a change of residence to one outside of EVMWD’s district, Director Jared McBride resigned from the EVMWD Board of Directors on June 21.
McBride, a lifelong resident of the Elsinore Valley and a local business owner, began his time on the board in December 2018. Prior to his resignation, McBride served as the director for Division 3, which covers Lakeland Village, areas west of Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, and unincorporated areas west of Interstate 15.
“We are grateful for Director McBride’s years of service to the District and to our valued customers,” said Phil Williams, president of EVMWD’s Board of Directors. “We have no doubt that he will be actively involved in his new community as he continues on the path of public service.”
EVMWD’s Board of Directors will evaluate options to fill the vacancy at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
EVMWD is governed by a five-member board of directors who are elected to staggered four-year terms by registered voters within their divisions. Regular meetings are open to the public and are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. at 31315 Chaney St. in Lake Elsinore.
