On September 17, the Menifee City Council recognized longtime resident Julie Zimmerman as Citizen of the Month. Zimmerman was honored for her leadership, passion for Menifee, and commitment to the community.
Zimmerman is dedicated to preserving the city’s history, supporting local programs, and uplifting the community. She has been a driving force in Menifee through her involvement in several organizations, including the Menifee Historical Society, the Girl Scouts, the Arts Council, and the Rural Center.
Through her decade of work with the Historical Society, Zimmerman has championed the preservation of local landmarks and stories that connect residents to the city’s heritage. She currently serves as the president of the association.
