A 16-year-old Homeland resident was arrested and charge with attempted murder and robbery. He was booked into the Southwest Juvenile Hall in Murrieta.
On Tuesday, May 12, at 4:09 a.m., Perris Station deputies responded to the 31000 block of Highway 74 in the unincorporated area of Homeland regarding a report of a robbery. Deputies arrived within minutes and located a male juvenile suffering from “severe head trauma.” He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
The Perris Station Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team assumed the investigation. On Thursday, June 18, the suspect was arrested. Anyone with additional information regarding the investigation is asked to contact Deputy Matt Cook at 951-210-1000 or [email protected].
