The City of Lake Elsinore invites all anglers ages 15 and younger to grab their fishing gear and head to the lake for a morning of fishing fun. The Just 4 Kids Fishing Derby is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Check-in is at 7 a.m. at the levee at 500 Diamond Dr. Patricipants will have the opportunity to enjoy a morning of fishing, friendly competition, and outdoor fun along the lake.
Awards will be presented at 10:30 a.m., recognizing top young anglers and notable catches.
Children participating in the derby must bring their own rods, reels, and tackle, as fishing equipment will not be provided.
