
The City of Lake Elsinore invites the community to celebrate Independence Day with a full day of family fun, culminating in a fireworks show over the lake.
The celebration kicks off with a Party in Park event from 9 to 11 a.m. at Summerly Park, featuring a morning of red, white, and blue festivities.
The Kids Bike Parade starts at 9:30 a.m., with bike decorating from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Party in the Park also features free amusements, hands-on activities, creative crafts, and plenty of patriotic fun.
At 9 p.m., the city will light up the sky with its annual fireworks show lauching from the T-Peninsula. To enhance the visual display, the show will be synchronized to KOLA 99.9 FM.
Recommended viewing spots include Lakepoint Park, Swick & Matich Park, and Whiskers Beach.
Those planning to enjoy the fireworks from the water can launch from Launch Pointe. Parking is $25. Launch and lake passes are $20, walk-in admission is $5, and RV parking is $50. Boaters are reminded that navigation lights are required after dark, and re-entry to the lake is not guaranteed.
