The City of Lake Elsinore recognized Mason Motorsports as its January Business in Action Spotlight recipient. The program honors local businesses that demonstrate excellence in customer service, economic contribution, innovation, and community involvement, while reflecting the spirit of Lake Elsinore through entrepreneurship and civic partnership.
Locally owned and operated, Mason Motorsports has become a nationally recognized leader in off-road motorsports manufacturing while maintaining deep roots in the Lake Elsinore community.
Founded in 2004 by brothers Neal and Rob Mason, the company has grown steadily over the past two decades and recently made a significant long-term investment in Lake Elsinore by expanding its headquarters from 9,000 square feet to more than 18,000 square feet of manufacturing space. This expansion supports additional skilled jobs, strengthens the local economy, and deepens Lake Elsinore’s role as a hub for action sports and motorsports innovation.

Mason Motorsports is globally known for designing and fabricating championship-winning off-road race vehicles, including Trophy Lite Trucks, Class 7200 and 6100 trucks, and both 2WD and 4WD Trophy Trucks. The company is especially recognized for its groundbreaking All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Trophy Trucks, custom creations valued at over $1 million each, which have reshaped the competitive landscape of top-tier desert racing through improved acceleration, enhanced cornering, and superior vehicle control.
Mason Motorsports received the Impact Award from the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2019 and was named the 2024 SCORE Truck Chassis Manufacturer of the Year. Their vehicles have achieved 17 podium finishes across high-profile desert racing events, including podium placements in SCORE Trophy Truck races at all four events during the 2024 SCORE World Desert Championship, as well as multiple strong finishes at the Mint 400.
