In October, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Investigations Bureau began an investigation into allegations of sexual assault against a child. After an extensive investigation, the suspect was identified as 26-year-old Angel Moreno-Salazar of Lake Elsinore.
Moreno-Salazar was arrested on October 29. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Moreno-Salazar was transported to the Cois Byrd Detention Center and booked on multiple charges of sexual assault with a child, sexual abuse of a child, sexual penetration with a foreign object, and oral copulation. His bail was set at $1,000,000, according to jail records.
