Lake Elsinore will be restocked today, June 25, with another 50,000 two-inch hybrid sterile bass known as wipers. This will be the third fish restocking of the year.
Wipers must be at least 18 inches to keep and there is a limit of two per day.
A valid California State Fishing License is required for individuals 16 years and older. While engaged in taking any fish, a valid fishing license must be displayed on the outer clothing at or above the waistline so that it is plainly visible. Fishing from shore is only permitted from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. in designated areas.
Lake Elsinore is subject to the California Freshwater Sport Fishing Regulations published by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
