Daily and nightly intermittent lane closures will continue this week along Summerhill Drive, Grape Street, and Railroad Canyon Road for retaining wall, median, and irrigation work.
From August 31 through September 3, there will be intermittent lane closures along Summerhill Drive and Grape Street at Railroad Canyon Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and intermittent lane closures along Railroad Canyon Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m and 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Streets will remain open to through traffic.
The Riverside County Transportation Commission, in partnership with Caltrans and the City of Lake Elsinore, is upgrading the I-15 Railroad Canyon Interchange to improve safety and capacity by adding lanes, modifying ramps, and building sidewalks and bike lanes along Railroad Canyon Road. RCTC is the lead agency for this project.
