EVMWD and Inland Empire Waterkeeper are hosting a free “Growing Water-Wise Edibles” workshop on Saturday, March 27, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Participants will learn about how to grow delicious and environmentally friendly fruits and vegetables at home. This is a virtual workshop and reservations are required.
Topics include site selection and soil preparation, garden plan and plant selection, irrigation, mulching and fertilizing, growing plants in containers, harvesting, and pest and disease control. A question and answer session will be held at the end of the workshop.
