Main Street to come alive for Annual Winterfest

The City of Lake Elsinore is bringing the holiday spirit to Main Street with its Annual Winterfest on Saturday, December 3, from 5 to 9 p.m.

This free community event features a holiday parade, tree lighting, photos with Santa, sled runs, food and craft vendors, and more.

The parade will start at 5 p.m. at the corner of Langstaff Street and Graham Avenue and will travel to the corner of Heald Avenue and Main Street. This year’s theme is Night of Lights and will feature dozens of brightly lit floats and local groups showing off their holiday spirit. There is no fee to participate in the parade; however, registration is required. To register, visit www.lake-elsinore.org/winterfest.

City Council officials and Santa will begin the countdown to the tree lighting at 7 p.m. on the corner of Heald Avenue and Main Street.

Free trips down the sled run will be offered on the corner of Sulphur Street and Main Street.

Santa will be available for visits and photos inside the Cultural Center at 183 North Main St.
