A park employee discovered a dead body behind a Riverside park on Tuesday.
At approximately 6:48 a.m., Riverside Police officers responded to an area behind Bordwell Park, located in the 2000 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard, regarding a dead body. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim who sustained a gunshot wound and was deceased, the Riverside Police Department said in a news release.
The victim’s identity is pending the Coroner’s investigation and notification of family members.
