Mayor Jeremy Smith will deliver Canyon Lake’s State of the City Address on Thursday, October 15, on the Sunset Terrace at the Canyon Lake Lodge. A reception and car show will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by the State of the City Address from 6 to 7 p.m.
This year’s event, themed “Built on a Dream: A Salute to America’s 250th,” will reflect on Canyon Lake’s story, celebrate the progress shaping the community today, and offer a look at the city’s future.
In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, the evening will also pay tribute to the enduring ideals of opportunity, service, and self-determination that continue to inspire Canyon Lake.
The State of the City offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from Mayor Smith about the city’s progress, future plans, and ongoing partnerships. Guests will have an opportunity to connect with city leaders, council members, local businesses, and regional partners, all while enjoying dinner, entertainment, and a few surprises along the way.
