
Ana Sauseda has been employed with the City of Canyon Lake since September 2018. In December 2019, Ana completed the Certified Municipal Clerk program and received official designation as a Certified Municipal Clerk. The City Council recognized her for this accomplishment during the January 15 City Council meeting.
“I’m so blessed to work for the City of Canyon Lake,” said Ana. “The support I’ve received from the City Council, city manager, and administrative services manager has been nothing short of amazing.”
On March 1, Ana was promoted from deputy city clerk to city clerk. In her role as city clerk, Ana works closely with the city manager, administrative service manager, and councilmembers. Her duties include serving as the liaison between the public and the city, official record keeper for all city records, managing city elections, ensuring the city’s transparency, managing the City’s Military Banner Program, coordinating the city’s community events, and attending City Council meetings.
Ana and her husband, George, have been married for eight years. They have two children, Landon and Lincoln, and a dog named Charlie.
When she’s not working, Ana enjoys camping and trips to the river with her family. She is currently in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in public administration.
