The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce recently hired Kristina Rasband to serve as its new communications and marketing director.

Hired on July 22, Rasband settled into her new job quickly and began working on creating a new logo and brand identification, redesigning the website and social media platforms, developing event flyers and pamphlets, and creating membership packets and a monthly newsletter.

“I am very excited to be a part of the Canyon Lake Chamber’s journey and meet those who are proud owners and want to share their business with others,” said Rasband.

Rasband has a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in broadcast journalism. Prior to her employment with the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce, Rasband worked for production companies in Los Angeles that have helped market such brands as Red Bull, Walmart, and Coca-Cola.

Rasband, who has been singing and performing since the age of three, teaches voice lessons at Temecula Music Teacher. For 14 years she performed as the lead singer of the local band Guilty Conscience.

Rasband enjoys traveling and works part-time as a flight attendant for a major carrier. “I absolutely love to travel and expand my horizons by meeting others around the world,” she said.

In her spare time, Rasband writes music and studies various photography techniques. She enjoys camping, exploring, and creating art with her boyfriend, who she resides with in Hemet.
