The City of Menifee announced today, March 3, that it entered into an agreement with the RJ Noble Company for the Goetz Road Overlay Project, consisting of resurfacing the existing road by doing grind overlay, restriping, and installing additional signage. The agreement is valued at $951,428.65.
The length of the project is approximately 3.12 linear miles and will take an estimated two months to complete.
Goetz Road is a main thoroughfare that connects major arteries in Menifee, including throughout Canyon Lake and Quail Valley.
“We are looking forward to this much-needed repair and maintenance of existing infrastructure, and look forward to this improvement to serve our residents in Quail Valley,” said City Manager Armando Villa.
“The city is consistently evaluating needs for infrastructure improvements, and taking steps to remediate issues in a timely manner,” said Mayor Pro Tem Matt Liesemeyer, District 2 Council Chamber. “We look forward to the Goetz Road Project, and to continuing to improve circulation in the city.”
