Menifee DUI Checkpoint results in one arrest, 11 unlicensed driver citations

The Menifee Police Department conducted its first DUI Checkpoint on December 18. A total of 848 vehicles were screened, resulting in one DUI arrest, 11 unlicensed driver citations, three suspended license citations, and four vehicle impounds.

Eleven citations were issued for speeding, red light, and equipment violations.

The checkpoint was funded through a partnership with the state Office of Traffic Safety.
