The City of Menifee invites the community to attend its grand opening of Sunset Park, 29944 Forester Cir., on Saturday, April 9, at 10 a.m.
Located on the west side of Menifee, Sunset Park features a well-shaded tot-lot, a merry-go-round, benches, three acres of grassy fields, a picnic shelter, planted foliage and trees, and lighted pathways.
Hosted by the City’s Healthy Menifee and Rec N’ Trek teams, the grand opening celebration will include healthy activities, games, and other free family-friendly fun including a ribbon-cutting ceremony to kick off the festivities.
“Sunset Park is a great addition to our community and provides the perfect outdoor space to spend time with family and friends,” Councilman Matt Liesemeyer said. “We look forward to our residents joining us this Saturday to celebrate this wonderful new park here in Menifee.”

Driving Directions: Traveling westbound on Newport Road, turn right on Goetz Road, then turn left on Audie Murphy Road and continue straight to Sunset Park.
