A Menifee man was arrested on Wednesday for a package theft that occurred in Canyon Lake and a Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) violation.

On September 16, a package theft occurred in the 2400 block of Cruise Circle Drive. The suspect was caught on a home security camera.

Deputy Verostek scoured the area and observed Nicholas Manupule, a 35-year-old resident of Menifee, on an expensive orange bicycle that was reported stolen on September 15 in the 2200 block of Gray Fox Drive.

Manupule, who police say was on PRCS and had prior theft convictions, was arrested for the package theft and a PRCS violation. Manupule will be facing additional charges for the bicycle theft, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
