A Menifee man was killed following a four-vehicle collision on Friday in the City of Moreno Valley.
On August 28, at 5:54 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Iris Avenue and Lasselle Street in the City of Moreno Valley, where they located four vehicles with major damage.
Four individuals were transported in critical condition to a local area hospital. David Betts, a 65-year-old resident of Menifee was later pronounced deceased.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and it is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in the collision. No arrests have been made
