A Menifee Police Department investigation into the illegal sale of drugs and alcohol to minors led to the arrest of two Sn Jacinto residents.
In February, a Menifee Police officer received information that an adult female was selling alcohol, nicotine vape pens, THC vape pens, and mushrooms to minors. An investigation was launched, and the suspect was identified Yuridia Guerrero, a resident of San Jacinto.
On March 17, with assistance from the Menifee Police Department Special Enforcement Team, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by Guerrero and Kevin Ocegueda, also an adult San Jacinto resident.
A search of the vehicle revealed bags of nicotine and THC vape pens, according to the Menifee Police Department. Guerrero and Ocegueda were arrested on suspicion of selling marijuana to minors, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, furnishing tobacco to minors, and selling alcohol to minors.
A search warrant was served at Guerrero’s residence, where authorities say additional evidence was located.
