For the past 26 years, Corporal Matthew Harper has dedicated his life to serving as a law enforcement officer, including more than six years with the Menifee Police Department.
Approximately three months ago, Corporal Harper was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Since receiving his diagnosis, he has undergone two major surgeries and continues to face a challenging road ahead.
Through it all, Corporal Harper has remained resilient, focused on his recovery, and committed to being there for his family.
After dedicating more than two decades to answering the call to protect and serve others, Corporal Harper now finds himself in a position where he needs the support of law enforcement and the communities he served.
The need for support is immediate. Corporal Harper is already several months into his fight and has undergone multiple major surgeries, with additional treatment and recovery still ahead.
A fundraising campaign has been launched to provide financial assistance to Corporal Harper and his family as they navigate the significant financial challenges associated with his cancer diagnosis, surgeries, treatment, recovery, and the ongoing expenses that come with an extended medical battle. This support will help ease some of the financial burden so Corporal Harper and his family can focus on his health, recovery, and being together.
