The Menifee Police Department presented the following statistics for the month of April.
The department received 4,477 calls for service, an increase of 424 service calls compared to the previous month. Calls for service are incidents sent to officers by dispatch or incidents that officers come upon while working.
The Dispatch Center received 5,882 calls. Last month, there were 5,493 calls. Dispatch Center calls include 911 calls and calls to the non-emergency line.
There were 533 crime reports generated by officers and staff documenting a crime, missing persons, or other significant events. Last month, 558 crime reports were generated.
Officers made 111 arrests, a decrease of 18 arrests compared to March. Arrests include felony and misdemeanor arrests and citations classified as arrests.
There were 57 collisions. Last month, there were 33 traffic collisions. Traffic collisions include injury, non-injury, and property damage collisions.
The Menifee Police Department is located at 29714 Haun Rd. Lobby hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For emergencies, call 911. For non-emergencies, call 951-677-4964.
