With nearly 300 sunny days each year, many Menifee residents and businesses want to install solar systems. The City of Menifee is one of only two cities in the state of California to launch the SolarAPP+ program to help make this process quick and easy.
SolarAPP (Solar Automated Permit Processing) and will help residents receive automated solar plan review and solar permits within minutes. Once the solar company confirms that their project meets certain requirements listed on the eligibility checklist, they can use the automated SolarAPP+ and Accela Citizen access portal for streamlined permitting for Menifee residents and businesses.
“Our goal is to make things as easy as possible for our residents and the contractors who serve them,” said Menifee City Manager Armando Villa. “We appreciate that residents and businesses want to install solar and programs like SolarAPP+ make the process efficient so they can get their new solar systems up and running as quickly as possible. That’s the kind of innovation we work hard to bring to the Menifee community.”
