Menifee Union School District Governing Board elects new members, swears in returning members

The Menifee Union School District Governing Board announced its annual organizational meeting on Monday, electing new officers and swearing in returning members.

Bob O’Donnell was sworn in as trustee for Area 2, marking the beginning of his 41st year of service as a member of the Governing Board. Xavier Padilla also took his oath of office, serving as trustee for Area 1.

During Monday’s meeting, the Governing Board also appointed new officers: J. Kyle Root, president; Jackie Johansen, vice president; Xavier Padilla, clerk; and Morgan Singleton II, deputy clerk. Outgoing President Morgan Singleton II was presented with a token of appreciation for his dedicated leadership as president during 2023 and 2024.
