Menifee’s first pump track is in the final design stage. The pump track bike park will be located at the new Evans Park being built on the southeast of Craig Avenue and Evans Road and will feature a larger track for more advanced riders and a smaller track for younger and less advanced riders. There will be 23,000-square-feet of pump track with a total of 32 obstacles, according to the city.
The six-acre park will also feature a permanent restroom building, a playground for children, and a gravel parking lot. An asphalt parking lot will be installed during phase two improvements.
The pump track will be open from dawn until dusk. The city plans to install lights in a future phase to allow for nighttime riding.
Be on the lookout for a groundbreaking ceremony this winter.
