The Mermaids of Canyon Lake Club is hosting a ladies-only scavenger hunt on Friday, October 7. “The Great Witches Scavenger Hunt” will take place around the lake. The starting point will be revealed upon paid reservation.
Each team will be comprised of a team captain, designated driver, navigator, and recorder. Two additional team members are optional. Transportation by golf cart is preferred but not necessary.
Teams will hunt for the “Keys to the Kingdom” by solving clues and puzzles and collecting items and photos. Teams that fail to solve the puzzles will be “cursed” and will have to search for the antidote.
Prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring team and best costume.
Only “witch coins” will be used for legal tender in the “Kingdom” and will be available for purchase at the starting point for $5 each.
“The Great Witches Scavenger Hunt” is a private fundraiser for members and their guests. Funds raised will benefit the community and a Riverside abused women’s shelter.
Tickets cost $38 each and include themed appetizers at each secret location, champagne or seltzers, and a Halloween dessert buffet at the after-party.
