Photo by Canyon Lake Insider.The Mermaids of Canyon Lake Club will be hosting its third annual Afternoon Tea fundraiser on Saturday, August 5, at the senior center. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m.
This ladies-only event features lunch, vendor shopping, music, games, a mermaid costume contest, and opportunity drawings.
Lunch includes an assortment of finger sandwiches, scones, and desserts, as well as a selection of tea, champagne, wine, and seltzers.

The Mermaids of Canyon Lake is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization composed of “mermaids” who have a passion for all things Canyon Lake. The group promotes volunteerism, community, and sisterhood. Its fundraising efforts support Alternatives to Domestic Violence and Trauma Recovery Center, Canyon Lake Fire Department, Helping Hands Group, and Huey’s Heroes Foundation.
