Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center will host its annual Hope Lights the Night luminary event on Thursday, April 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park.
This community event, held in partnership with the Mermaids of Canyon Lake Club and the Canyon Lake Jr. Women’s Club, is designed to celebrate life and honor those impacted by cancer. The evening will bring the community together for a heartfelt gathering of remembrance, support, and hope.
This event will feature the decorating and display of luminary bags, each representing loved ones who have battled cancer. As the sun sets, the luminaries will be lit, creating a powerful and moving tribute to those honored and remembered.
Guests can expect an evening filled with music, reflection, and community connection. The program will include a moment of silence, speeches, live music, a “Wall of Hope,” and a champagne/sparkling cider toast. Food trucks will be on-site, offering a variety of options for attendees to enjoy throughout the evening.
Hope Lights the Night serves as a poignant reminder that even in the face of adversity, there is strength in unity and light in the darkest times.
