On December 14, incumbent Joseph Morabito (District 3), incumbent Ashlee DePhillippo (District 5), and newly-elected Carlos Marquez (District 1) were sworn in as council members; after which, the council appointed Joseph Morabito to serve as mayor and Bridgette Moore to serve as mayor pro tem for the 2023 term.
Morabito was elected to the council in 2018 and reelected in November. He has served as mayor pro tem for the past year. His term expires in 2026.
Moore was elected to the inaugural city council when Wildomar became a city in 2008. In 2010, Moore became the first woman in the city’s history to serve as mayor. She was appointed mayor again in 2016. Moore represents District 4. Her term expires in 2024.
