With 144 players, the Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) hosted a successful charity golf tournament. It was the largest tournament hosted at the Canyon Lake Country Club this year.

The tournament raised more than $6,000 for the various charities the CLAMS support, according to Vice President Mark Inkrote.

Rob Lewis, Zach Lewis, Matt McDevitt, and Steve Circle won the tournament with a net score of 54.

A few of the honored guests who played in this year’s tournament included retired NFL player Willie Buchanan, retired Red Sox pitcher Greg Harris, and four-time Olympic High Jumper Dwight Stone.

The tournament concluded with a luncheon and prizes.

The CLAMS is a nonprofit organization that has been in existence for more than 40 years. With the help of volunteers, the organization raises money to help those in need. Membership is open to all Canyon Lake men who have a desire for friendship, volunteering, fundraising, and fun.
