A local RV park in the City of Lake Elsinore saw a substantial increase in bicycle thefts this month. Deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Station Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation.
On March 10, deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Oriole Court in the City of Lake Elsinore and recovered more than 30 stolen bicycles, two stolen vehicles, narcotics, and other items common with theft, according to Sergeant Jeff Reese.
Alfonso Suarez, a 35-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, was arrested and transported to Cois Byrd Detention Center. His bail was set at $10,000, according to jail records.
