Murrieta resident Tony Duong, 35, was apprehended and taken into custody for a residential burglary that occurred on Wednesday in the City of Wildomar.
On April 3 at about 9:55 a.m., Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a residential burglary in the 36000 block of Mustang Spirit Lane. Several electronics were reported stolen from the residence.
On April 4, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the City of Murrieta where stolen items were discovered and subsequently returned to the victim.
Duong was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for residential burglary and outstanding arrest warrants. His bail was set at $500,000. Duong is scheduled to appear in court on April 9.
During the investigation, it was discovered Duong may be responsible for additional thefts in the Wildomar area. Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Deputy Noel or Deputy Hermes at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station at 951-245–3300.
