Murrieta, Menifee Police Departments conduct joint Traffic Enforcement Operation

Ten motor officers from the Murrieta and Menifee Police Departments conducted a joint Traffic Enforcement Operation on Tuesday, January 16, along the Whitewood Road and Clinton Keith Road corridors within the City of Murrieta.

Conducted between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., this operation focused on enforcing Primary Collision Factor (PCF) violations. PCF violations are responsible for causing most traffic collisions and encompass driving while impaired, speeding, redlight violations, and unsafe turning movements.

In total, 103 vehicles were stopped for vehicle code violations. Officers issued 91 citations, of which 85 were for PCF violations.

This partnership marks the first of several joint operations anticipated for 2024. Future joint enforcement operations will be conducted in both Murrieta and Menifee.
