Murrieta Police launch online reporting system for non-emergency crimes

The Murrieta Police Department is making it easier for the community to report certain non-emergency crimes. Residents can now submit reports online for theft (under $950), vandalism, identity theft, fraud, and lost property.

The new Online Reporting Program provides a fast and convenient way to report eligible incidents 24 hours a day, helping save time while allowing officers to remain available for emergency calls and proactive policing efforts throughout the community.

Only crimes with unknown suspect information can be reported via the portal. Residents reporting a crime where the suspect’s identity is known should call 951-304-2677 to arrange to file a report in person.

To file an online report, visit https://www.murrietaca.gov/OnlineReporting.
