A multi-vehicle accident on southbound Interstate 15 sent nine people to the hospital Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the scene around 4:15 p.m. near the Nichols Road off-ramp, where multiple vehicles—including a food truck—were involved in the crash.
According to officials, two individuals with moderate injuries and seven individuals with minor injuries were transported to a local hospital.
Southbound lanes of Interstate 15 were partially closed for approximately 45 minutes as first responders worked to clear the scene and treat the injured.
