In the spirit of November, a month dedicated to giving thanks and helping those in need, Yard Fresh, a local pet waste management company serving Southwest Riverside County, is hosting a Blanket Drive to benefit the animals at Animal Friends of the Valleys.
Community members who would like to donate new or gently used blankets or quilts can place them in collection bins between November 1 and November 30 at the following locations:
- PZA, 31574 Railroad Canyon Rd., Ste. A, Canyon Lake
- The Lyons Den, Canyon Lake (by appointment only at 424-263-7043)
- Canyon Lake Dog Park, East Port Park, Canyon Lake
- Canyon Lake Hair Design, 31730 Railroad Canyon Rd., Canyon Lake
- Fitness 19, 26100 Newport Rd., Menifee
- Epic Dog Academy, 42346 Rio Nedo Rd., Ste. A, Temecula
- The Yoga Barre, 32140 Temecula Parkway, Ste. J-105, Temecula
- The Mexico Cafe, 44500 Pechanga Pkwy., Temecula (on November 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. only)
- Fitness at Socal, 39621 Los Alamos Rd. Ste. C, Murrieta
- VIP Florist, 25030 Hancock Ave., Murrieta
Last year, Yard Fresh collected more than 100 blankets for the animals at Animal Friends of the Valley.
