One boy was killed and another was injured from gunshots on Friday in the City of Wildomar.
On May 9 at about 10:30 p.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to an assault with a deadly weapon in the 21000 block of Waite Street in the City of Wildomar, where they located an adolescent male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Deputies performed lifesaving measures on the victim, who was transported to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
An additional adolescent male also sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made at this time.
