Operating a business within the City of Canyon Lake requires a business license and compliance with the city’s Municipal Code, including Zoning Code and Sign Ordinance. To conduct a business from home, business owners must meet certain eligibility requirements and obtain a Home Occupation Permit.
The fee for a new business license is $161. Renewals cost $130. Annual licenses expire on Dec. 31.
