On September 3, a joint enforcement operation was conducted in the San Jacinto Valley. “Operation Heatwave” consisted of 51 compliance checks on individuals on post-release community supervision, mandatory supervision, parole, and probation. Law enforcement personnel also conducted numerous enforcement stops.
Twenty-nine individuals were arrested, including a suspect involved in a sexual assault, according to Sergeant Bob Nishida. A stolen vehicle, a large quantity of methamphetamine, four handguns, numerous rounds of ammunition, items consistent with drug sales, U.S. currency, and illegal weapons were seized.
