Canyon Lake has 16 parks and beaches for residents to enjoy year-round. Beginning tomorrow, May 1, parks and beaches will open at 8 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. Winter hours, October 1 through April 30, are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Dogs are allowed at East Port Park, Emerald Park, Evans Park, Harrelson Park, Lions Park, and Outrigger Park. With the exception of the fenced dog park at East Port Park, dogs must be leashed at all times. Pets are not allowed in the lake.
