Hosted by Priscilla Circle, people living alone are invited to a free harvest luncheon on Saturday, October 29, at 12 p.m. in the Family Activities Building. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
Priscilla Circle is one of five circles at Canyon Lake Community Church. The main ministry of this group is PLAN, an outreach to people living alone. Three times a year, Priscilla ladies plan and provide a free luncheon for about one hundred people who live alone and may or may not be members of the church. There is always a theme, beautiful decorations, a delicious lunch, pleasant conversation, music, and a testimony or two.
The theme for the October 29 luncheon is harvest and thankfulness. Rita Robles is in charge of the food, this time fall comfort food with chicken, zucchini, corn with a cheese sauce, and hand-made desserts.
Youth Pastor Derek Singer and his wife, Anna, will be speaking. Priscilla members will be giving away door prizes.
