The Canyon Lake Pickleball Club hosted a Poker and Potluck event on Saturday. Fifty-six club members participated.
Each player received six cards when they arrived. Three matches were played, the winners received extra cards. The five players with the best poker hands after three matches were awarded gift cards donated by the club.
The winners are Rick Bowan, first place; Tom Garcia, second place; Mike Deckert, third place; Cheryl Sisco, fourth place; and Darren Davenport, fifth place.
The Pickleball Club will be hosting events throughout the summer, including the Junior Clinic in July, the Hot August Nights Tournament, and monthly potlucks on the third Thursday. Club members will be attending a baseball game this Thursday at Storm Stadium.
