Canyon Lake juniors learn the sport of pickleball. Photo by Canyon Lake Insider.The Canyon Lake Pickleball Club will be offering introductory lessons to juniors ages nine through 17 on Saturday, June 17, from 12 to 4 p.m.
The clinic covers learning skills, rules, and game strategy. There will be contests, raffles for prizes, and a mini-tournament at the end of the day.
The club will be providing paddles and balls, along with instructors for each court. Community Juniors of Canyon Lake only need to show up and be wearing athletic shoes.
“This is one of our most popular events for the kids in the community, don’t hesitate to sign up early as it will sell out quickly,” Membership Director Steve Libring said.
There is a $5 pre-reservation fee to guarantee a spot. Only the first 24 juniors to register and pay in advance will be entered into the clinic. To register or for more information, email [email protected].
