The pirates and wenches of the Canyon Lake Yacht Club will be prowling the lake on Saturday for the Third Annual Pirates and Wenches Cruise and Tie-Up Party. Pirate ships and crews will meet up at 6:15 at the Holiday Harbor docks.
Activities include food, grog, a cruise around the main lake, and a tie-up with swimming and mayhem all in good fun. Historical records suggest that there may be a water battle between pirate ships during this event.
Since 2021, the Pirates and Wenches event has proven increasingly popular with costumed participants swaggering about in their gnarly garb.
This event is open to all Yacht Club members and their guests.
